Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Mia Doi Todd’s critically acclaimed 2008 album, GEA, will finally make its vinyl debut with a limited pressing on green vinyl, in celebration of Record Store Day and Earth Day 2020. Todd is at her best on GEA, both in terms of songwriting and arrangements, with help from co-producers Carlos Niño and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson. The album has been remastered for vinyl, and the packaging features an updated version of her original cover artwork, along with a lyric insert. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Carbonfund.org to offset the carbon footprint of this release.

Sachiko’s beautiful album ‘Misora’ is being re-released by Light In The Attic and she will be performing at Zebulon with Mia opening and Vinyl Don playing music from Japan.
Mia will be one of several special guests in an evening of works by composers associated with, or inspired by, the Fluxus movement, performing John Cage’s “Apartment House 1776” with Rodrigo Amarante, Dwight Trible, Odeya Nini, Andrew WK, Joe Rainey, Sr. and Georgia Anne Muldrow.
Featuring collaborations with Saul Williams, Dungen, Tunde Adebimpe, Dntel, Money Mark and many more dreamy friends, Mia’s soundtrack to ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ will be released on July 13th, to coincide with the theatrical release of the film at Landmark Theaters nationwide.
